Mileway, the leading pan-European last-mile logistics real estate company, announces it has signed a lease agreement for a 5,700 sqm unit in Malmo with 3D Prima, a leading supplier of 3D printing products in Europe. The unit is part of Mileway’s speculative development of a modern logistics warehouse at Soderarm 11.
The property will provide 3D Prima with key last mile space at a time of rapid growth for the business. The company will occupy the premises from November 2023, following the addition of bespoke features, including additional office space, a showroom, changing rooms and a bigger workshop space.
The larger Soderarm 11 development, which creates 12,400 sqm of highly sought after state-of-the-art logistics warehouse space, is set for completion at the end of the year. Located in Östra Hamnen area of Malmo, just five kilometres from the city centre, this key location provides access to both Malmo and the cities in the south of Sweden as well as Copenhagen. The Greater Copenhagen Region is one of the most densely populated metropolitan areas in the Nordics with a total population of 4.4 million.
The second 6,600 sqm unit on the development remains available, which, alongside customisable warehouse space, offers 265 sqm of office space.
Jacob Goldmann, Country Director for Sweden, Mileway, said:
“We’re proud to welcome 3D Prima as a customer and to be able to support them in their growth plans. The interest we have seen in the development in Östra Hamnen further demonstrates Mileway’s ability to create modern logistics facilities to meet the evolving needs of today’s businesses.”
Jacob Mårtensson, Founder, 3D Prima, added:
“It was fantastic to work with Mileway to create a state-of-the-art facility which will play a crucial role in our expansion plans. The strategic location, combined with the customisable space and excellent transport connections, will enable us to efficiently serve our customers and continue our growth trajectory.”
Mileway worked with broker, Croisette, to secure this lease agreement.
