Mileway, the leading pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, announces it has signed a ten-year lease agreement with flooring solutions provider, TradeChoice Distribution. The business, which trades as TradeChoice Carpet & Flooring, will occupy a c19,000 sq ft state-of-the-art unit at Spring Meadow Business Park, Cardiff.

The newly renovated premises will serve as TradeChoice’s regional distribution centre, facilitating the company’s expansion following its relocation from smaller premises in Cardiff. Spring Meadow Business Park is located within the industrial district of Wetloog, three miles east of Cardiff City Centre, with easy access to the M4 motorway.

In 2021, Mileway undertook an extensive refurbishment at the property, investing almost £400,000 to transform a dilapidated warehouse into a state-of-the-art logistics and distribution facility better aligned with the needs of today’s market. This saw Mileway combine, reconfigure and modernise a semi-detached industrial unit to create a warehouse space with clear, high open interior space and a fenced yard. The upgrade also encompassed a brand-new roof coating, custom LED lighting installation and an overhaul of the car parking area to improve accessibility.

The trade arm of the Nestware Group, TradeChoice is a leading distributor of floor covering products, tools and accessories in the UK, offering a range of high-quality products sourced from Europe’s premier flooring manufacturers. It offers a network of branches across the UK, with a central National Distribution Centre located in the Midlands.
